Thin Spaces
There are moments in nature when the boundary between the physical and the spiritual feels almost transparent—when the veil between heaven and earth thins, and something otherworldly quietly reveals itself.
Thin Spaces is a body of work exploring people and places through small-scale paintings that investigate how light is captured and reflected. This collection is my meditation on stillness and reverence for the beauty of the natural world.
Painted in oil directly onto copper panels, these works leave areas of exposed metal that shift and glow as the light changes, moving subtly with their surroundings and hinting at something sacred and unseen.
